Beth Crespan
Beth Crespan is a certified Music Together teacher who started her own center in California in 1997. Accompanied by her guitar, ukulele and sometimes a fiddle or banjo she has taught hundreds of families in California and is now in Spokane to teach and share her love of music making with you and your family.

Deidre Catlin
Deirdre Catlin discovered a passion to help others gain freedom and find balance while she was a pilot and Lieutenant Colonel with the Active Duty then Air National Guard. She became certified in multiple energy modalities. In her practice she blends her own intuition and compassion with the most groundbreaking of the energy rebalancing practices in her toolbox.

Heather Villa
​Director/Owner and Teacher, Heather Villa has been an award winning professional Jazz Singer in the Spokane area since 1999, and still actively performs with her bands Villa Blues n' Jazz and The Ukuladies of Spokane. With a Theatre and Arts Administration BA from Whitworth, she has a strong passion for the arts. Her children, husband and community inspired her to redirect most of her focus to early childhood and music education, and rebuilding the village mentality within her community. Heather started Spokane's Songbird Consulting Music Together program in 2015, which continues to be her passion and joy, bringing more teachers and families together in music and the arts! Heather teachers our Music Together Mixed-Age and Baby Family classes, Music Together In-School programs, and the new Bambini Toddler Time classes in our new Songbird Music & Arts Studio and in the surrounding area.

Michelle Lodato
Michelle has been teaching Music Together Family and In-School classes with our center since 2017 and is excited to be back after taking maternity leave. She loves to make music and has played piano for many years including teaching lessons and accompanying for local schools and performances. She will now be offering piano lessons for beginning and beginner/intermediate students through our studio! In her “spare time” since the pandemic hit, she enjoys spending time in the beautiful outdoors, dancing around the house with her daughter, and trying to teach her dog about social-distancing.

Nicole Hicks-Wedge
Nicole Hicks-Wedge has been an actor, choreographer, performance coach, singer and business woman in the Spokane community for over 20 years. She is no stranger to Spokane stages having performed with Spokane Children's Theatre, Onyx Theatre, Spokane Civic Theatre and Interplayers Theatre. She took a small hiatus to focus on raising her family and has been elated to return to singing and acting these past few years. Most recently in Saskatchewan, Canada. Inspired from teaching music to her own 2 boys, Nicole is so excited to share the Music Together program with as many families as possible!

Posie Kalin
Posie Kalin is a professional artist and arts educator living in Spokane with her husband and two daughters. Her work covers a broad spectrum of art mediums including video, music, photography, installation, printmaking, painting, sculpture and performance. Kalin's work involves collaboration, dramaturgy, manifestation, and an investigation in to how objects and form can be weighted with a feminist perspective while proposing alternative realities and ways of being. She engages esoteric practices, ritual, visual divination and abstract poetics as strategies and directives for production. Kalin has exhibited regionally, nationally and internationally including Spokane, Yakima, Portland, LA, Las Vegas, Chicago, NYC, Bulgaria and Australia. She currently teaches painting at EWU and youth media art labs at Songbird Music & Arts Studio!

Sarah McKeever
Sarah McKeever grew up in music and theater doing choir, theater, musicals and operas through middle school, high school and college. She earned her Bachelors in Theater and is a certified secondary Theater and English Teacher. She interned at Emerald City Opera, worked back stage crew at Maine State Music Theater and stage managed at Lake City Playhouse. She has taught English and Theater at Dishman Hills High School. She is currently a full time mom to her three young kiddos and loves raising them around music and the arts.
