Sultry Vintage Blues, Jazz & Swing
With over 20 years experience, we bring you duos and trios featuring vocalist, Heather Villa. Heather has been a featured vocalist in several local bands including: LUSH, 6 Foot Swing , the Spokane Jazz Orchestra, Kind of Blue, The Brent Edstrom Trio and currently plays with her band, Villa Blues and Jazz. Mrs. Villa has also been a Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival Soloist Winner, as well as seen acting on stage in NY, OR, and locally in the Cd'A and Spokane areas, and is a graduate of Whitworth University.
Villa Blues n' Jazz was founded in 2011. After singing lead vocals in the swingin' and award winning band, 6 Foot Swing (Voted 5 years in a row, "Best Band," by Inlander Readers), Heather brought together these very talented and experienced jazz musicians to form a more blues and soul group: Brian Flick (upright bass), Eugene Jablonsky (bass/guitar), Michael Lenke (trumpet/vocals), Steve Bauer (guitar/vocals). Some musical influences of the group include Bessie Smith, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, John Lee Hooker, BB King and Stevie Wonder.

Our rates vary, depending on travel time and length of performance, but generally we play up to 3 hours, with a 1/2 down deposit to reserve the date. We are happy to entertain and work with budgets, and offer non profit discounts.
